The district maintains a public Document Repository as part of its commitment to government transparency. Agendas, meeting minutes, budgets, audit reports, resolutions, and other publicly accessible records are posted there at no cost to anyone who visits this website.
Before submitting a formal CORA request, please browse the Document Repository and the rest of this website. The document you need may already be available instantly and at no charge. If you cannot find a specific document, it may simply be an oversight on our part — using the Feedback option to let us know is often the fastest path to getting what you need and will not cost you anything.
A formal CORA request carries statutory copying and research fees (see the fee schedule below) and involves processing time of up to 7 business days. We encourage you to use this process only when a document is not already publicly available on this site.
The Colorado Open Records Act (C.R.S. § 24-72-201 et seq.) gives any person the right to inspect and copy public records of state and local government. The district has 3 business days to respond to your request, which may be extended to 7 business days with written notice. Copying and research fees apply per statute. All requests must include verifiable contact information — anonymous requests will not be honored.
